Archival Quality
Giclée prints are archival in nature. The combination of archival inks and media, along with appropriate coatings to protect against UV rays, produces a print that is guaranteed to last for well over 100 years in appropriate viewing conditions.
Large Format
We can print very large works of art—up to 40” on the smallest dimension for a stretched canvas. And we build every stretcher frame in-house to your specifications, so you’re not locked into standard sizes. If we can print it, we can stretch it!Vibrant & Accurate Color
We work with artists to achieve the best, most accurate color reproduction possible. Our printers leverage the latest in inkjet printing technology, with ultra-high resolution and a focus on consistency and accuracy in color.
Canvas Finishing Options
Get your canvas giclee prints finished the way you want. Choose from a variety of canvas finishing options to suit your needs.
Varnishing
All canvas prints, except those printed on Sunset Reserve Gloss, get a matte finish of varnish. This process adds longevity to the print by protecting it from harmful UV rays and abrasion. Additional coats of varnish can be added when you want a glossier effect on the print.Rolled Canvas (Unstretched)
Rolled canvas is suitable for canvas prints that will be shipped in a tube or dry-mounted on board. They are cheaper to ship and more economical to produce, making this a great option for artists who sell prints online and ship to customers around the world.
Stretched Canvas
We can stretch virtually any custom-sized canvas to meet your needs. We cut our own stretcher bars to size, meaning you’re not locked into standard dimensions.
Framing Stretcher: ¾” stretcher bars suitable for prints that will be framed.
Gallery Stretcher: 1-½” stretcher bars for gallery wrapped prints. See below for options for finishing the edges of gallery wrapped canvas prints.
NOTE: Due to increasing lumber costs, stretcher bars are more expensive than we wish they were and are currently at a premium cost.
Edge Finishing Options
Whether you choose a stretched or rolled canvas, we can provide you with the edge style you desire.
White Edge: Edge is left unprinted, but will be coated with the same level of varnish as the printed area to ensure added protection from abrasion and UV rays.
Colored Edge: We can print a solid color of your choice. Black is a common choice, but we can also select any color to create the look you want.
Mirrored Edge: Your image is extended and mirrored to create a wrap-around effect that is artistic and pleasing to the eye.
Image Wrap: Your image is enlarged to wrap around the edge. This will cause the main part of the image to appear larger on the stretcher frame.
